“The most wonderful thing about being part of the WEF community is the incredible level of passion, engagement and action which is produced by some of the most caring and considerate people I have ever met. It is simply a privilege to be part of the extended WEF family”…Marc Kielburger, Executive Director, Free the Children

You build bridges…to other women, to enlightenment, to better lives…Lynn Smith, Senior VP, Private Client Group, Robert W. Baird

I would like to commend WEF for assembling such an impressive group of intelligent, interesting and insightful women!  I have benefited by expanding my personal and professional network.  I am humbled to be in a group of individuals who crave enrichment and are intellectually curious—not to mention incredibly fun!  I look forward to making more meaningful connections through WEF in the coming years.  Keep up the good work!…Liz Hoffswell, VP of Marketing, Holland Chamber

WEF means…Connecting:  I am more connected to my passions, my values & my hopes for the future since connecting with women through WEF.  The opportunities for personal & professional conversation & shared learning that pre-dated WEF were great, but WEF offers a space for relationships to be stepped up.  There is an authenticity in the connections that goes beyond life experience, life stage and life story. Remarkable:  In connecting women’s energy, remarkable action follows.  I have been inspired by the creativity, strength, intellect, heart & action of women & their families.  I have been changed in remarkable ways.  Women:  Women do have a unique place in vocation, community and home.  Through our shared learning, we are challenged and very likely transformed in the process…Donna L B Lowry, MD

WEF’s programming brings freshness, focus and inspiration to our natural desire to make life better for ourselves and our community.  Their emphasis on nurturing curiosity through dynamic engagement, whether through planned events or shared conversation, continues to enrich…Ann McKnight, CSW, MSW

As a student panelist last fall at a WEF event, I was privileged enough to interact with WEF members.  Immediately I was moved by everyone’s authenticity, intelligence and engaging spirits.  While my role during the event was to present a college student’s perspective on how women are perceived in the media today, I gained inspirational support through the conversations that were started from the presentation.  Even if I had not interacted with WEF members, the liveliness, professionalism and friendly atmosphere was inviting and compelling.  As a young woman, it is empowering to see a network of other women support and challenge one another…Laura Nettleton . Hope College Graduate

For me, WEF provides a message of inspiration, encouragement toward innovation, and community for conversation.  It offers a venue for women presenters who have a topic to share that has captured their hearts and intellects.  At the same time, WEF asks each participant to enter a journey of discovery, sifting her own interests and life experiences, seeking that which can ignite in her a similar passion…Kendra Lindberg, M.A. Graduate Counseling Psychology

My two-year involvement with the Women’s Enrichment Forum has been amazing.  I have met a diverse group of dynamic women who share common interests, goals, and intellectual pursuits.  I’ve especially enjoyed connecting with women who aspire to grow personally and professionally while encouraging others in optimistic and self-empowering ways.  WEF has also provided opportunities to engage with a variety of professional speakers, all of whom have been inspirational and thought-provoking.  WEF is an innovative organization with which to be involved, especially as I anticipate the Holland community benefiting in positive ways through the work of these strong women…Shannon Elhart, Life Coach
